Kanako Urai, popularly known as Asuka in the WWE Universe, is a Japanese professional wrestler. She is currently signed to WWE and is one of the top stars on the roster. When she signed with the company, Asuka became the first Japanese female wrestler to sign with WWE in over two decades.
Asuka began her career as Kana in the AtoZ promotion in 2004. She announced her retirement in 2006 and returned in 2007. Since then, Asuka has become the third winner of the Women’s Triple Crown and the second winner of the Women’s Grand Slam.
